Can my supervisor's CE courses count toward my PDU requirement?
No. The BACB requires PDUs from ACE Provider content specifically designed for RBTs®. Supervisor CE hours do not count toward your RBT® PDU renewal requirement.

Do I have to complete all courses in the pack at once?
No — you can complete the courses at your own pace throughout your 2-year renewal cycle. Just ensure you complete the hours needed before your BACB renewal deadline.

Will the 12-PDU Pack always have exactly 6 PDUs, or will more be added?
More will be added. We're currently at 6 PDUs and actively building toward the full 12. Every new course is automatically added to your pack at no extra charge.

I'm a teacher — can I take PDU courses without needing renewal credit?
Yes — anyone can enroll. PDU credit only applies for BACB-certified RBTs® completing renewal hours. If you're a teacher, the ABA Essentials for Teachers bundle is a better fit.

How and when do I receive my PDU documentation?
PDU documentation is provided within 45 days of course completion. Your certificate will include your name, course title, PDU value, completion date, and ACE Provider number OP-23-10608.

How do I know if a GoBeyond course qualifies for PDU credit?
GoBeyond is ACE Provider OP-23-10608. Every individual PDU course listed on this page qualifies for BACB PDU credit. The Teacher Bundle does not qualify for PDU credit and is clearly marked as for educators only.

What exactly is a PDU and how is it different from a CEU?
A PDU (Professional Development Unit) is the specific term the BACB uses for continuing education required for RBT certification renewal. A CEU is a more general term not recognized by the BACB for RBT renewal purposes.
